Dr. Dania Abdelaziz

Dr. Dania Abdel-Aziz is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Interior Design at Applied Science Private University. She holds a Ph.D. in Architecture Engineering specialized in Design Theory and Teaching Practices from the İzmir Institute of Technology (2025). Her academic background also includes an M.Sc. in Architectural Engineering from the University of Jordan and a B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering from Al al-Bayt University. Dr. Abdel-Aziz’s research focuses on Design learning studies, Environmental Design, Design Education, Design Pedagogy, and urban space analysis. Her publications have appeared in reputable international journals. She has also presented at international conferences in Turkey and Europe. Before joining ASU, Dr. Abdel-Aziz taught at several Jordanian universities, including the University of Jordan, Al-Zarqa University, and Al-Zaytoonah University. She has extensive teaching experience in design studios, architectural theory, and interior design. Fluent in Arabic, English, and Turkish, Dr. Abdel-Aziz integrates interdisciplinary and cross-cultural perspectives into her teaching and research. She is also a member of the Jordan Engineers Association and a co-founder of the Design Academy initiative, contributing to architectural education and community-based design projects.​
