Science Overview
The Faculty of Science was established in 2023 as part of the university’s commitment to scientific and technical programs and its important role in helping students learn the skills needed to succeed in industry, scientific research, and academia. The faculty currently includes three departments: the Department of Chemistry, the Department of Mathematics, and the Department of Basic Sciences/Scientific. The Faculty grants a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Mathematics, as well as a Master's degree in Chemistry.
The Faculty teaches basic scientific and practical courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology to students in the university’s scientific faculties: Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, Information Technology, and Nursing. Through the various courses, the Faculty seeks to provide students with the fundamental knowledge necessary to develop their specialized academic structure, in addition to developing their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities by stimulating deep understanding of scientific concepts.
The Faculty is committed to constructing and serving the local community in all fields. It also trains its students in local community organizations to provide them with work skills and prepare them to participate in the local work community.
