Having worked in academic and clinical health care settings, I have an abundance of experience that enabled me to join ASU's faculty in September 2024. I was the founder of a master's program in chronic care nursing during my ten years at Isra University in Jordan. My contribution to programs like fall prevention, infection control, CCRT, and preceptorship at the National Guard Health Affairs in Saudi Arabia strengthened my research based abilities to clinical instruction and staff development. As a WHO consultant for Competency-Based Education and Practice and as an expert in enhancing students clinical judgment abilities, I have been involved in several curricular reforms in the country and region. I have also participated in initiatives to obtain quality certification and program accreditation from national and international bodies including the ACEN.
