In line with their strategic partnership and commitment to community service and to activate the MOU between the Hospital and the University, faculty members from the Faculty of Nursing at the Applied Science Private University (ASU) participated in delivering a specialized Preceptorship Course tailored for the nursing and clinical staff at Al-Istiqlal Hospital at 10-11/6/2026.
The course was designed to enhance the clinical mentoring and supervision skills of the hospital staff, equipping them with modern methodologies to guide and evaluate students and newly hired nurses during their practical training. Key topics covered included clinical performance assessment, effective communication strategies, and the application of evidence-based practices in a clinical setting.
The management of Al-Istiqlal Hospital highly commended the efforts of the ASU faculty members, emphasizing the value of this knowledge-sharing collaboration in boosting nursing performance and elevating the overall quality of healthcare services.
