Abstract : BACKGROUND: Cervical radiculopathy Syndrome (CRS) is a clinical description in result of irritation and /or compression of nerve root as it exits the cervical spine, causing pain and disability. Traditional Cervical Traction (TCT) commonly is recommended for patients with CRS. In a study Al- Jazzazi and Al-Qudah (2021) [3] applied a new modified method of Spinal Decompression Therapy (SDT) in patients with CRS. It was named by Al-Qudah, (2021): Combined Lumbar Traction with Cervical Traction (CLTCT) and was suggested as one intervention. They used CLTCT as part of rehabilitative program as a result it demonstrated significant positive effects in pain management and disability. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of CLTCT in CRS rehabilitation is still unclear and uncertain. OBJECTIVE: The purpose of the presented work is to identify the effectiveness of CLTCT in patients with CRS, as well to compare CLTCT with TCT in pain and disability. METHODS: The study was a multicenter randomized controlled trial. The participants of this study were sixty three male patients who had accepted the invitation. Subjects were randomly divided into two groups of controlled and experimental. Control group (n= 31) applied Cupping Massage (CM) for 10 minutes, Mechanical Sustained Cervical Traction (MSCT) for 20 minutes, and a Gradual Therapeutic Exercise Package (GTEP) for approximately 15 minutes. The Experimental group (n= 32) applied Cupping Massage for 10 minutes, Combined Lumbar Traction with Cervical Traction as one intervention for 20 minutes and a Gradual Therapeutic Exercise Package (GTEP) for approximately 15 minutes. Both groups applied the treatment program, at home for 4 weeks and by 12 sessions due to the robust governmental restrictions in light of Corona Pandemic. Subjects were trained by their local physiotherapist and checked through telephone calls and WhatsApp messaging group system. The local physiotherapist collected Pre and Post measurements. The collected results were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) system. RESULTS: In both groups there were statistically significant differences between pre and post measurements in favor of the post measurements in terms of pain and disability. Furthermore, results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the groups in favor of experimental group. CONCLUSIONS: The present study demonstrated that the significant positive effects of CLTCT were more than TCT in patients with CRS.

Building Norm Scores to Agility T-Test for Junior Handball Players in Jordan
Authors : Dr.Omar A’mir
Abstract :
The study aims to develop norm scores for the agility T-Test for junior handball players in Jordan using a survey method and field tests. The sample consisted of 420 players, with 154 randomly selected. The results showed that the raw scores and percentile scores for Jordanian junior handball players were based on the T Agility Test. The research proposes using percentile values to assess the agility of Jordanian junior handball players and to compare their performance with that of Arab and international teams based on standard scores. The research emphasizes the importance of measuring and evaluating individuals' abilities to achieve educational and training goals. It also highlights the need for translating fitness tests to suit local environments and international standards. The study's findings indicate that the use of percentile scores may effectively identify the areas of strength and weakness in agility among junior handball players in Jordan. This information can be very beneficial in terms of enhancing player development. The agility test is useful for specialists in measurement and evaluation and coaches working in Jordanian handball as a tool for measuring and evaluating special agility. The study used a survey method and field tests on 420 junior handball players, finding the test valid and reliable. Percentile scores were extracted from basketball players' performance on the Illinois agility test and determined standard categories based on the arithmetic mean and standard deviation. The findings could help improve the quality of physical education and sports performance in Jordan. Keywords: handball players; agility T-Test; sports performance; Jordanian handball.

Abstract : BACKGROUND: The positive effects of using the SAQ training method in developing some elements of physical fitness and skills for professional players were determined, while the effect of this method on learners of sports skills has not been studied. OBJECTIVE: The presented study aims to identify Effects of Speed Agility Quickness Training Program on Explosive Power and Handball High Jump Shot Accuracy METHODS: 40 male Students of the Sports Sciences Faculty at Mutah University were randomly divided into two groups: experimental (EG) including 20 (mean ± SD: body mass: 70.60 ± 4.45; body height: 174.40± 3.70) and control (CG) including 20 (mean ± SD: body mass: 71.95 ± 4.45; body height: 175.65 ±3.13), The experimental group performed SAQ program(24 sessions: 8 weeks,3 sessions per week,60 mins per session, the total time would be 1440 mins) while the control group undertook the same volume of regular training) It is based on cardio and strength training exercises), after that, both groups performed a total of 12 sessions(4 weeks,3 sessions per week,60 mins per session) handball jump shot learning program, so that the total time of the handball jump shot learning program would be 720 mins, Outcome measures were assessed before and after a period of both TRAINING and handball jump shot learning program to measure Explosive Power and Handball High Jump Shot Accuracy, An Independent Samples T-Test and A Paired Samples T-Test were used to analyze data. p < 0.05 was considered as statistically significant. Results: The improvement observed in the experimental (EG) group was significantly greater compared to the control group(CG) in terms of the Explosive Power and Handball High Jump Shot (p < 0.05). Conclusions: It appears that 8 weeks of speed agility quickness program provides greater benefit for improving the Explosive Power and Handball High Jump Shot in male Students of Sports Sciences Faculty at Mutah University

The effect of using computer software on teaching the skill of standing on the arms in gymnastics
Authors : Dr.Omar A’mir
Abstract : The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of multimedia computer assisted instruction (MCAI), traditional instruction (TI), on learning the ability of handstand skill. 30 male students of 1st grade in University of jordan were randomly assigned into two teaching method groups; TI, MCAI Each group received Eight 50-min periods of instruction divided into three sections: (a) 10-min warm up, (b) 35-min instructional time and (c) 5-min cooldown, TI group participants experienced the handstand skill through a series of progressive skills presented by an instructor. The MCAI group experienced handstand skill through a series of progressive skills presented by teacher and a multimedia computer assisted instruction. All students completed pre, post test-. T test were conducted to determine effect of methodgroups (MCAI, TI). The MCAI methods. Post-test results indicated significant differences on learning handstand skill، and handstand ability test scoresof the MCAI group were more favorable to TI method. However, the MCAI method of instruction tended to be the most effective on handstand skill learning. This study has recommended the necessity of designing the multimedia computer assisted instruction on learning gymnastics skills.
