The Mediating Effect of Innovation on the Relationship between Ambidexterity and Organizational Performance.
The main objective of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of innovation on the relationship between organizational ambidexterity and organizational performance in Jordanian pharmaceutical organizations. To do so a comprehensive model was developed based on reviewing the related literature. The data was collected using questionnaire that are distributed, employing the convenience sampling, to the managerial levels employees of 14 pharmaceutical organizations in Jordan
Based on 166 accepted responses the study findings reveal that organizational
ambidexterity and its two dimensions are positively and significantly related to
organizational performance. As well as, there is a significant positive effect of
innovation and its two dimensions on organizational performance. Also, organizational
ambidexterity is significantly and positively related to innovation. Furthermore, the
findings confirm that innovation mediate the relationship between organizational
ambidexterity and innovation
