It is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to the website of the Department of Finance and Banking at the Applied Science Private University. The Department of Finance and Banking was established in 1991 as a department within the faculty of Business at the university. The department includes a select group of faculty members with distinguished academic qualifications in various fields of finance and banking, both academically and professionally. The department offers a unique Master's program in Finance and Risk Management, both thesis-based and comprehensive, which is considered the only program among Jordanian public and private universities, as well as among universities in the region. The program is distinguished by its adoption of a robust teaching plan that emulates international academic programs, contributing to increased employment opportunities for graduates.

At the undergraduate level, the Department of Banking and Finance offers contemporary academic programs in Financial Technology and Risk Management, with two tracks: one in Arabic and the other in English. This program focuses on applied research and field training, while simultaneously employing modern technology and specialized computer programs in academic education. This contributes to the development of a group of graduates who are academically and practically qualified.

The Department of Banking and Finance also seeks to connect theoretical knowledge with practical life by building cooperative partnerships with local community institutions.
