The Faculty Development Center at Applied Science Private University organized a training workshop on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, entitled “Developing Course Syllabi and Writing Measurable CLOs”, with the aim of enhancing faculty members’ skills in designing comprehensive course plans aligned with academic quality standards.
The workshop was delivered by Dr. Mohammad Idris, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Business, and was attended by a number of faculty members from various faculties. The event was held in the FINC Hall at the Faculty of Information Technology from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The workshop covered several key areas, most notably mechanisms for designing university course syllabi, identifying course-level learning outcomes (CLOs) based on scientific methodologies that ensure measurability and assessment, as well as presenting models that support academics in formulating clear and coherent outcomes aligned with program-level outcomes.
