The Faculty Development Center at the Applied Science Private University organized a specialized training workshop entitled “Statistical and Numerical Analysis Using R” as part of the activities of the 2025–2026 academic year, with the participation of a number of faculty members and individuals interested in scientific research.
The workshop was delivered by Dr. Salma Almutlak from the Faculty of Science and was held over two days (Thursday, March 26, 2026, and Thursday, April 2, 2026) in the workshop hall at the Faculty of Pharmacy, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The workshop aimed to develop participants’ skills in statistical analysis using R. It covered several key topics, including training participants on data processing, applying descriptive and inferential statistical models, and creating professional graphical visualizations. It also focused on programming fundamentals, working with matrices, and importing and analyzing data programmatically to support scientific research and enhance decision-making.
This workshop comes as part of the Center’s commitment to strengthening faculty members’ capabilities and equipping them with modern tools that support the quality of scientific research and keep pace with rapid developments in the field of data analysis.
