The developments in the areas of information and communication technology have brought about a qualitative leap that has affected all educational processes, especially in relation to the ways and methods of training. These developments have led to the emergence of modern mechanisms in the acquisition of knowledge, skills, means of transmission, and generation strategies, overcoming constraints of space, time, and scarcity of human resources.
This research aims at identifying the impact of e-management in the training institutions by applying to the Sudanese Center for Training and Development in Khartoum. The aim of the research is to introduce electronic training and the work of an electronic training platform.
The researcher used the descriptive analytical method and used the statistical analysis program (SPSS) to analyze and extract the results of the questionnaire and test the hypotheses and the UML program to determine the tables of the databases and their relationships, as well as the usage case diagram to illustrate the behavior of the system, the sequence diagram, and system workflow.
The research highlighted a number of basic problems facing the training process: lack of development of training institutions and their coping with technical development, weakness of reliance on electronic management, restriction in time and space in traditional training, the great effort exerted in traditional training, the burden of human and financial resources in traditional management, and lack of an electronic training platform.
The research dealt with the above problems by creating an electronic training platform to keep abreast of the advances in modern technology. A random sample questionnaire was distributed and analyzed, and results obtained confirm the effectiveness of an electronic training platform.
The researcher reached a number of results, among them the need to use modern methods and techniques in the training process, and that e-management contributes to the development of society, saves cost and time, and also contributes to improving the training process and providing the necessary information to the target audience fast without burden.
The researcher went out with several recommendations: the development of the infrastructure for training institutions, adoption of the website to provide training services, and working on global partnerships in this regard, along with the training of employees, trainers, and trainees to use modern technologies.
