Dr. Sahar Jaffal is an assistant professor of Physiology whose work explores pain pathways—particularly TRPV1 modulation—and the discovery of analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic candidates from medicinal plants and marine sources. She has taught Physiology, Pathophysiology, Anatomy, Microbiology, and Cell Biology, and served on research, quality, and community service committees. Dr. Sahar Jaffal is the inventor of the USPTO-granted “mini-incubator carrier box” and the “primary cell triturator,” earning major awards including gold medals at the International Invention Fair in the Middle East and a prize at the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva. She has authored a physiology laboratory manual, a book chapter with Elsevier, and numerous peer-reviewed articles, while serving as reviewer and associate editor for international journals.
