​Evaluation of scientific books of the university's faculty members

​​​Application Submission

- The book evaluation request form is submitted in hard copy, accompanied by a cover letter, to the Head of Department.

- The request is presented to the Department’s Scientific Research Committee to express its opinion and make an appropriate recommendation.

Department Recommendation

- After the Department’s Scientific Research Committee issues its recommendation, the Head of Department forwards it to the Dean.

College Scientific Research Committee

- The Dean presents the request to the College’s Scientific Research Committee.

- After making the appropriate recommendation, it is forwarded to the Deanship of Scientific Research to complete the procedures.

University-Level Scientific Research Committee

- The request is presented to the University-Level Scientific Research Committee.

- If initial approval is granted, the evaluation request is sent to two reviewers selected from the list proposed by the College Dean.

- The reviewers are given a maximum period of three months to submit their reports.

After Receiving Reviewers’ Reports

- The reports are presented to the University-Level Scientific Research Committee to make the appropriate decision.

Possible Outcomes :

- Final approval.

- Approval with revisions :

* The comments are returned to the applicant to make the required revisions.

* After completing the revisions, the request is resubmitted to the University-Level Scientific Research Committee for the final decision.
