Prof. Rami Masa'deh

Professor Rami Masa’deh has a master degree in critical care and worked as lecturer at King Saud University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the period between 2004 and 2008. In 2008, he was sponsored by the Applied Science Private University (ASU) to continue his PhD in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at the University of Nottingham /United Kingdom. In 2012, he Joined ASU as Assistant Professor in Psychiatric Mental Health Department/School of Nursing. He was promoted in less than four years for an Associate Professor and again for Professor following the fast track (double points) at ASU in Amman, Jordan. Professor Masa’deh has more than 30 publications in nursing and health sciences peer reviewed ISI and Scopus journals. Thus, he was rewarded as the outstanding researcher four times in the ASU. 

  • Professor Masa’deh is interested in studying the psychosocial aspect of people in different life situations. He is focusing on the relationship between physical and psychological status of people. Thus, he has several papers examining the mental health of individual diagnosed with physical/psychological disorders, their families and the health care providers dealing with them. Moreover, he is interested in the effect of using proper communication techniques on mental health status of people.
