​​​​​​​The Impact of Using iPads in Teaching the 3D Shapes Textbook Unit and Promoting Spatial Visualization and Achievement in Mathematics among Eighth-Grade Students

Abstract : This study aims to uncover the impact of using “iPads” in teaching the 3D Shapes Unit and promoting “spatial visualization” and “achievement in Mathematics” among “eighth-grade” students. The researcher conducted the study in Al-Hassad Schools, and used a quasi-experimental method which included an experimental group and a control group. The sample consisted of 118 “eighth-grade” students enrolled in the second semester of the academic year 2014-2015. The students were placed randomly in two groups; 62 students in the control group and 56 in the experimental group. The researcher developed a "3D” model from a textbook unit, a spatial perception test, and a Mathematics achievement test. The study revealed the following findings: a) the effectiveness of an iPad-enhanced “3D” model in improving students' mathematical achievement, b) the effectiveness of using “iPads” in promoting spatial perception among “eighth-grade” students, c) a statistically significant correlation between the level of spatial perception and their achievement in Mathematics d) a statistically significant difference in the effectiveness of using “iPads” to facilitate the students’ achievement in Mathematics and spatial development, which is attributed to gender difference, and favored female participants. In conclusion, the study recommends the use of “iPads” to facilitate teaching and learning Mathematics and promoting the development of students’ spatial perception. Moreover, it also suggests paying more attention to male students. This study also provided evidence as to why it is necessary to conduct future studies to develop special applications for “iPads” to better facilitate teaching and learning Mathematics and other materials in Arabic, and finally, the researcher also recommends incorporating “iPads” in teaching practices within schools and classrooms.

Abstract : The study aimed to identify the impact of teaching a course on educational Islamic concepts through using a developed content, which complies with quality of digital courses, on concept achievement and motivation development among female students of Educational Sciences faculty in Jordan. To achieve its objectives, the study adopted the quasi-experimental approach. The sample comprised (50) female class teacher students who were selected from the faculty of educational sciences in Jordan, second semester 2020/2021. The sample was randomly divided into an experimental group that comprises (25) students who studied the developed learning content via distance education which complies with quality standards of digital courses, and a control one that comprises (25) students who studied the courses with the conventional way.

Abstract : The current study aimed to identify the appropriate educational role for Jordanian secondary schools to develop their quality culture based on Hoshin Kanri methodology. To achieve the purpose of the study, a qualitative design based on content analysis was used. The findings of the study revealed that the appropriate educational role included the activities, practices and plans on which secondary schools are based, in addition to the focus on implementing quality culture through the role of schools’ principals, teachers and personnel, and employing it in the fields and aspects related to secondary schools. ​​​​​واقع استخدام معلمي المدارس في الأردن لأدوات التقويم الإلكتروني المنزلي في ظل انتشار جائحة كورونا

Abstract : هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن درجة استخدام معلمي المدارس في الأردن لأدوات التقويم الإلكتروني المنزلي في ظل انتشار جائحة كورونا. وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من كافة معلمي الأردن، واختيرت عينة​ الدراسة عشوائيا وبلغت (360) معلما ومعلمة. واتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، واستخدمت الاستبانة من أجل جمع البيانات من عينة الدراسة. وتم توزيع الاستبانة من خلال (Google form) عبر مجموعات المعلمين في مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي (الفيسبوك وتوتير) وعبر برنامج التراسل الفوري (واتساب)، واستمر جمع البيانات لمدة (30) يوما، وقد تم التأكد من صدق الاستبانة وثباتها. توصلت الدراسة إلى حصول مجال "الأسئلة الإلكترونيّة المنزلية" على متوسط حسابي (0.73±3.28) وبدرجة متوسطة، وحصل مجال "الاختبارات الإلكترونيّة المنزلية" على متوسط حسابي (1.01±2.89) وبدرجة متوسطة، وحصل مجال "ملف الإنجاز الإلكتروني المنزلي" على متوسط حسابي (0.99±2.74) وبدرجة متوسطة، ومجال "تحديات استخدام التقويم الإلكتروني المنزلي" حصل على متوسط حسابي (0.67±3.79) وبدرجة مرتفعة، وبناء على نتائج الدراسة، فإنها توصي بضرورة الاهتمام بتوظيف ملف الإنجاز الإلكتروني المنزلي في تقويم الطلبة.

​​​​​Research Title :Anthems' Impact on Basic Education Students' Spoken Communication Skills in Amman, Jordan

Abstract :This study aimed to study the effect of using songs in developing oral expression skills among fourth grade students in the Jordanian capital, Amman. The quasi-experimental approach was used, and the study individuals consisted of (42) students from the fourth grade in Shafa Badran Mixed Basic School. The sample was divided into two sections: an experimental group (21) students, and a control group (21) student. The experimental group studied using educational songs to develop oral expression skills, while the control group studied using traditional methods. The pre- and post-tests were applied to the two study samples. An achievement test was prepared as a tool, and the data were analyzed statistically. The results showed statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group, which confirms the effectiveness of the effect of using songs in developing oral expression skills among fourth grade students. I recommend the necessity of activating the role of songs in the educational process, especially in the basic stage, due to their positive effect that leads to improving students' performance in general.

​​​​​Research Title :The Significance of Hymns in Enhancing Language Acquisition for International Students at the Applied Sciences Private University in Jordan

Abstract :This study aimed to study the effect of nasheed in enhancing language acquisition among international students at the Applied Science Private University in Jordan. The semi-experimental approach was used, and the study members consisted of (40) foreign students who did not speak the Arabic language at the Applied Science Private University. The sample was divided into two parts: an experimental group (20) students, and a control group (20) student. The experimental group studied the use of chants to develop Language skills, especially oral expression, are important for communicating with the outside community, while the control group was studied using traditional methods. Pre- and post-tests were applied to the study samples. The achievement test was prepared as a tool, and the data was analyzed statistically. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group, which confirms the effectiveness of using songs in developing Arabic language skills among students Non-native Arabic speaking foreigners. I recommend the need to activate the role of nasheed in the educational process because of their positive impact that leads to improving the performance of students in general.

Abstract :This descriptive, curriculum-based study examined how school administrators' moral leadership affects teachers' performance in Amman, the capital. Administrators' moral leadership correlated with teachers' academic achievement. The survey included 114 Amman public school principals. Two surveys were conducted. The first paragraph presents moral leadership criteria, while the second paragraph examines instructors' performance, showing their ability to develop trust among educators and students. These findings promote ethical leadership in education by fostering effective administrator-teacher relationships on classroom management and goal planning. Teachers' performance was positively correlated with school administrators' ethical leadership standards in Amman, the capital. This implies that school administration ethics improve teachers' effectiveness

​​​​​Research Title :The Effect of the ChatGPT Program in Enhancing the Reading Skill in EFL Among Students at the Applied Sciences Private University

Abstract :The study aimed to find out the impact of the artificial intelligence program ChatGPT on enhancing the reading skill of sixty male and female students enrolled in the English Department at the Applied Science Private University in the Jordanian capital, Amman. They were divided into two groups, thirty students who did not use ChatGPT to form the control group and thirty students who used ChatGPT to form the experimental group. The aim of this research was to determine whether the ChatGPT tool enhanced reading skill better than traditional study programs and whether the ChatGPT system enhanced reading abilities more successfully. The study was conducted over a period of six weeks where participants in the experimental group used ChatGPT software for reading comprehension exercises. Their reading skills tests were conducted before and after for both groups, and a questionnaire was used to obtain their opinions on the use of ChatGPT. The results showed that students who used ChatGPT were better at reading skill than students who used traditional methods, underscoring the usefulness of the program as an educational aid. The students praised ChatGPT for its user-friendly design and for helping it develop their positive attitude towards reading in the questionnaire distributed to them. The results also confirmed how deeply AI-based language models are making advances in language teaching. The findings provide valuable insights for teachers and curriculum developers to use the relevant ChatGPT strategy and AI software in language teaching and learning

​​​​​Research Title :The Impact of ChatGPT on the Comprehension of English Reading Skills Among primary schoo

Abstract :The research sought to determine the effect of the artificial intelligence programme ChatGPT on improving the reading proficiency of (70) male and female pupils at Al-Shmeisani West Mixed Elementary School in the capital of Jordan Amman. The participants were categorized into two cohorts: the control group consisted of (35) students who did not use ChatGPT, whereas the experimental group included (35) students who utilised ChatGPT. The objective of this study was to ascertain the comparative effectiveness of the ChatGPT tool and conventional study programmes in improving reading skills, as well as to evaluate the relative success of the ChatGPT system in enhancing reading abilities. The research included (8) weeks, during which participants in the experimental group used ChatGPT software for engaging in reading comprehension activities. Reading proficiency assessments were administered to both groups before to and during the implementation of ChatGPT. The findings demonstrated that students who used ChatGPT exhibited superior reading proficiency compared to students who relied on conventional approaches, hence emphasizing the program's efficacy as an educational tool. The findings further validated the significant progress that AI-based language models are making in the field of language instruction. The research proposes the use of artificial intelligence systems and programmes, such as ChatGPT, into the instruction of the English language for school children.

​​​​​Research Title :The Influence of Educational Software on the Scholastic Achievement of Sixth Grade Students in Science in Mafraq Governorate in Jordan

Abstract :The study examined the impact of educational software on academic achievement and motivation among sixth grade students in Qasabat Al-Mafraq schools in Mafraq Governorate. The research included designing an educational program for space science and preparing an achievement test. A questionnaire was used to measure motivation. The study sample consisted of 140 male and female students from Abu Bakr Al- Siddiq Basic School for Boys and King Abdullah District Mixed Basic School. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in pre- and post-achievement in favor of the experimental group. The study concluded with recommendations on the necessity of providing educational software for all educational levels and subjects, encouraging researchers to conduct more studies on computer use and preparing educational software, and encouraging science teachers to invest in educational software

​​​​​Research Title :The Impact of Using Religious Hymns on Developing Public Speaking Skills Among Students at the Applied Science Private University in Jordan

Abstract :This study aims to reveal the degree of possession of students of Applied Science Private University of public speaking and meeting skills as a type of oral expression, and the effect of the teaching method at its two levels: religious hymns and regular in developing oral expression skills, namely public speaking and good delivery among students of Applied Science Private University. The study individuals consist of two groups of (48) male and female students, distributed into two groups, one experimental and the other control. To achieve the objectives of the study, the "Oral Expression and Delivery Skills Assessment List" was developed and consisted of (21) paragraphs, which included four aspects (skills): intellectual, linguistic, vocal, and epic. Arithmetic means, standard deviations, multiple analysis of variance, and analysis of variance were employed to answer the study questions; The results showed that the degree of students' possession of good oratory and delivery skills as part of oral expression was average, and that the teaching method according to religious hymns was effective in developing students' delivery and oratory skills in oral expression. The study concluded with a set of recommendations that confirmed the possibility of developing students' oral expression skills by employing appropriate teaching methods

Abstract :Teacher Perspectives on Administrative and Educational Standards for Using Artificial Intelligence in Education in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan د. زكريا المباشر د. فادي بني مصطفى د. فايق الزبن د. أحمد الاحمري artificial Intelligence, administrative decisions, artificial intelligence technologies, education, educational administrators The study sought to identify the necessary conditions for implementing artificial intelligence technologies in the educational administrative process, as perceived by administrators and educators in the Ministry of Education and its directorates in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. A total of 350 educators were included in the sample, selected through a random process. The study employed a descriptive analytical approach and utilised a questionnaire as the primary research instrument. The inclusion comprised of three axes that symbolize the educational, administrative, and technical prerequisites for the utilisation of artificial intelligence technologies in the educational administrative procedure. The study's findings indicated that the participants exhibited a moderate level of agreement regarding the educational requirements, while demonstrating a high level of agreement regarding the administrative requirements. The level of consensus regarding the technical requirements was significantly higher in comparison to the educational and administrative requirements. Furthermore, it was evident that there were no statistically significant disparities in the responses of the participants based on gender, academic rank, and years of experience, in relation to the educational, administrative, and technical prerequisites for utilising artificial intelligence technologies. The study provided several recommendations, with the most crucial one being to thoroughly examine the anticipated challenges in implementing artificial intelligence in educational institutions and addressing them
