Dr. Bani Hani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance and Banking at Applied Science Private University (ASU), Amman, Jordan. He holds a PhD in Risk Management and Finance from RMIT University, Australia, an MS in Quantitative Finance and Financial Technology from the University of Texas at Arlington, USA, and a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Finance and Banking from Yarmouk University, Jordan.
Dr. Bani Hani's research interests focus on empirical corporate finance, particularly on downside risk measurement, board diversity, CEO characteristics, and corporate governance. His work utilizes large U.S. panel datasets and advanced econometric techniques. He has published in top-tier Q1 journals and presented at major conferences. His current research investigates the intersections of financial technology, blockchain, and artificial intelligence with traditional finance.
