Dr. Aseel Aburub is an assistant professor in cardiovascular and respiratory physiotherapy. She completed her Ph.D. in 2021 from Keele University (United Kingdom). Her research focuses on improvement of physical health and quality of life. In particular, her research has focused on cardiovascular and respiratory rehabilitation, physiotherapy for neurodegenerative diseases (Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's), and exploring how physiotherapy could improve women health in terms of urinary incontinence, pre-natal and post-natal physiotherapy, and using technology in physiotherapy. Dr. Aseel has received funding from many associations internationally, and presented her work in several conferences worldwide. She is teaching courses and modules about cardiovascular and respiratory physiotherapy, women health, and research methodologies.
