October is CPR Month in the Middle East and North Africa region. Early high quality CPR can make the difference between life and death.
In celebration of CPR Month and following the lead of the American Heart Association (AHA), the Life Support Training Center at Applied Science Private University (ASU LSTC) proudly conducted a hands-on training event on October 13, 2025.
Over 70 students from different faculties participated in practical sessions focused on:
- Hands-Only CPR
- AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Use
- Choking Response
The event aimed to raise awareness of the importance of immediate response in cardiac emergencies and to empower students with life-saving skills.
