Lec. Hilana Ahmad Al Kharouf

Faculty member

My name is Hilana Ahmad Mohammad Al-Kharouf, and I currently work as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Nursing at Applied Science Private University. I specialize in Clinical Nursing and Nursing Education, dedicating my career to advancing healthcare practices and inspiring the next generation of nurses.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Nursing from Applied Science University (2018) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Jordan (2011). These academic milestones reflect my commitment to excellence in nursing education and patient care.

I began my professional journey as a Staff Nurse in the Medical-Surgical and Endoscopy departments at private hospitals, where I gained valuable clinical experience and a strong foundation in patient care. Driven by a passion for teaching, I transitioned into education-focused roles, including serving as a Nurse Educator and Training Center Program Coordinator. In these roles, I developed educational programs, mentored aspiring nurses, and contributed to the professional growth of healthcare teams.

Additionally, I had the privilege of working with Doctors Without Borders on the Amman Reconstructive Surgical Project. As a Health Educator, I organized comprehensive educational programs for patients, focusing on health promotion and fostering healthy lifestyle habits. My work in this role allowed me to directly impact patients' lives, empowering them with the knowledge and tools to improve their health outcomes.

In my current role as a Lecturer, I strive to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, ensuring that students are equipped with the skills, confidence, and critical thinking needed to excel in the dynamic field of nursing.
