Dr. Hiba Ibrahim

Hiba Ibrahim is an assistant professor in the Applied English Program in the Department of English and Translation at the Applied Science Private University. She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from York University in Canada and a master’s degree in education from University College London in the UK. She has worked in the ESL and foreign language education, digital education, and intercultural education sectors for over 15 years and was a visiting professor on a Fulbright FLTA Fellowship in 2013-2014 at Baldwin Wallace University in the United States. She has conducted several research activities in the field of intercultural competence and virtual exchange in the contexts of foreign language learning and teaching​
