PROGRAM SHARING ACROSS LOCAL AREA NETWORK
The current protocol allows the user to use programs on his own workstation. This project aims to allow users to execute programs and sub-programs on other workstations. The network operating system was modified to allow users to share programs giving the user the ability to call a program stored on other workstations in the network. We developed a program that was added to the network operating system that allows users to call sub-programs shared by other networks. This was the seed for shared programming.
