Dr Maysoun Qutob is an Assistant Professor at the Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics Department/ Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences at Applied Science Private University. She is an administrative Board member at the Jordanian Dietetic Association (JDA), as well as the Head of the Media Committee and a member of the Scientific Committee at the JDA Association.
Dr Qutob is also a Member of the Scientific Committee at the Jordan Nutrition Innovation Lab (JNIL) - USAID and Tufts University/USA and has collaborated in the scientific committees of several conferences held in Jordan.
She holds both B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Biological Sciences and Ph.D. in Nutrition and Food Technology/ specialized in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics (joint program of master’s and PhD). During her post-graduate studies, she has worked as a research and teaching assistant in both Faculty of Science and Faculty of Agriculture/ University of Jordan.
Dr Qutob is a licensed dietitian (LD) from Ministry of Health/ Jordan, and recently becomes a registered nutritionist (RNutr) at the AfN/UK.
Dr Qutob is interested in studying the dietary patterns and habits and its relations to chronic diseases, and studies in sports nutrition.
