Dr. Roaa Jaber Alawadi

Biography

Dr. Roaa Jaber Al-Awadi is an Associate Professor and Acting Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Applied Science Private University, Jordan. She earned her Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering from Clemson University, USA, in 2020, her M.Sc. in Engineering Project Management from the University of Jordan, and her B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the Hashemite University.

Her academic, research, and professional expertise spans transportation and traffic engineering, emergency evacuation planning and modeling, artificial intelligence and machine learning applications in civil engineering, structural engineering, and concrete materials. She has held academic and administrative positions and has contributed to academic program development, quality assurance, and the leadership of accreditation processes, including ABET accreditation requirements.

Dr. Al-Awadi has authored and co-authored numerous research papers published in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences. In 2025, she received the Most Published Researcher Award for Scopus-indexed publications from Applied Science Private University.
