Established in 1991-1992 at the Applied Science Private University campus in Shafa Badran, Amman, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities has been a cornerstone of ASU since its inception. The faculty has consistently kept pace with ASU’s progress and prosperity in various fields.
FOAH has earned a distinguished academic reputation at the national, regional, and international levels. Its many achievements throughout its academic journey, coupled with its success in attracting students from various Arab and other world countries, have solidified its position. In line with ASU’s vision of being a "University for All Arabs," FOAH is committed to providing a suitable environment that fosters cultural and linguistic interaction among students, thereby promoting cultural awareness and the importance of successful intercultural dialogue.
FOAH is a founding member of the Society of Faculties of Arts in the Arab World, affiliated with the Association of Arab Universities. It comprises five academic departments offering bachelor, master's, and higher diploma programs as follows:
