​Management Information Systems (MIS) is one of the scientific fields which connect business management methods with information technology in order to achieve organization's goals. MIS is concerned with exploring, analyzing, and integrating information management systems to simplify complex business processes and make the information highly valuable for organizations.

The MIS Department offers a Bachelor degree in Management Information Systems. The program requires the completion of 132 credit hours. The MIS curriculum and study plan are designed to reflect recent innovations and advancements in the fields of MIS.

Mission

To prepare academically qualified graduates and specialists in the field of management information systems by providing an integrated learning environment and supporting and encouraging scientific research and effective partnership with community institutions.


Department Goals

  1. 1- Keeping pace with the scientific development in preparing the study requirements in the department.

  2. 2- Preparing and qualifying specialized scientific cadres to work in the fields of various information systems.

  3. 3- Sponsoring the scientific excellence students and preparing them to complete their higher studies in the field of their specialization in the local and foreign universities.

  4. 4- Strengthening the relationship with local and Arab community organizations.

  5. 5- Developing and developing scientific research in the department.

  6. 6- Combining the theoretical and practical aspects to prepare students to meet the needs of the local and Arab labor market.​
