The Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics Program at the Applied Science Private University was accredited by the Higher Education Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission (AQACHEI) for the academic year 2019/2020 under the umbrella of the College of Pharmacy, before joining the College of Allied Medical Sciences in 2022. The Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics awards students a bachelor's degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics through a four-year full-time study. After completing the courses for the third year, students must spend a full summer semester as practical training in clinical nutrition practice and evaluation of the nutritional status in the departments of hospitals accredited for practical training (Ibn Al-Haytham Hospital and others), under the supervision of faculty members and the administrative supervision. The Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics program provides students with a strong foundation for cumulative learning experiences of theoretical courses covering all aspects of clinical nutrition, human nutrition, community nutrition, anatomy, pathophysiology, food systems management, and clinical nutrition and dietetics.
