Dr. Suhair Mohammad AlHaj Hassan

Dr. Suhair AlHaj Hassan is an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Information Technology (FIT) at Applied Science University (ASU) since 2020. She has obtained her PhD degree in Software Engineering from the University of the West of England (UWE) in UK, and her MSc degree in Computer Information Systems in 2008 from Middle East University in Jordan with honors. She has gained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from University of Jordan in 2005. Before joining ASU, Dr. Suhair has worked for several years as an instructor at different universities in Jordan, UAE, KSA and UK. In 2013 and 2014, she was the coordinator of the MIS department in University of Dammam /KSA, and head of the organizing committee of the yearly MIS Symposium. In addition, she was an internal assessor for several modules at Emirates College of Technology /UAE, between 2010 and 2012. She has also worked as an Oracle Developer at Middle East University in the period 2005-2007. Also, Dr. Suhair has achieved the highest score in the Middle East in California Critical Thinking Skills Test.​
