Associate professor, senior IEEE member, PHD holder from the University of Glamorgan/UK in 2008 in mobile wireless networks. I obtained my BSc, in 1985 and MSc, in 1994, in electrical engineering/ communications from the reputable University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan. I have experienced lecturing on computer and communications engineering, computer science, computer networks and security courses. Some of the many courses I taught or currently teach are: Computer Networks, Networks programming, Networks design, Networks Switching and Routing, Digital Signal Processing, Embedded Real-Time Operating Systems, Embedded Software Applications, Microcontrollers and Microprocessors, Data Structures and Algorithms and Numerical Analysis. My academic experiences include Jordan, Saudi-Arabia and UAE. I experienced teaching and training at different graduate and undergraduate levels plus some industrial and vocational experience. Of my best moments in life are those when I feel that I successfully motivated the students to learn, do and develop. I have other past work experiences in industry including many years at the Royal Scientific Society of Jordan as research engineer and head of electrical testing and a computer maintenance engineer. I had opportunities to serve at many conferences and journals as reviewer, TPC or editing committees. My research interests range widely from networks and networks security, sensor networks, mobile and wireless and the internet of things and their performance. Additionally, I have a sidetrack of research interest in engineering and computer science education. In total, I have 25 publications in conferences and refereed journals and books.
