Dr. Awni Rawashdeh, an assistant professor in the accounting department, received his bachelor's degree in 1994, his master's degree in accounting in 2007, and his PhD in accounting information systems in 2011. He has received the XBRL Foundation Certificate from XBRL international as well as the QuickBooks Certification from Intuit. He has had multiple publications published in peer-reviewed journals, as well as at conferences. His research focuses on the acceptance of innovation and digital transformation in accounting.
