​As part of the Faculty of Art and Design at Applied Science Private University’s initiative to integrate creativity with technology, students from the Fashion and Accessories Design Department organized a weekly presentation titled “Smart Innovations and Their Application in Fashion and Accessories Design.”

The participating students showcased the latest cutting-edge technologies in the design world, such as smart textiles and wearable technologies. They demonstrated how these innovations contribute to fashion not only from an aesthetic perspective but also in terms of functionality and practicality—for instance, by regulating temperature or monitoring health indicators—thus adding real value and enhancing the user experience.

The presentation aimed to raise students’ awareness of the latest global trends in the fashion industry and to empower them to think critically about how to incorporate technology into their future design visions. The session also featured an interactive discussion that addressed the challenges of applying these technologies and explored ways to harness them to develop innovative solutions that meet evolving market demands.
