As part of an educational and cultural excursion, Lec. Fatima Samara, a lecturer in the History of Global Art course within the Department of Design and Visual Communication, led her students on a field visit to Jabal Al-Qala’a on Thursday, January 9, 2025. The purpose of this visit was to enrich the course content by exploring the Temple of Hercules and visiting the associated museum, which features artifacts ranging from primitive art to Islamic art.
Afterward, the group proceeded to the Hindiyya Museum of Arts, renowned for its extensive collection of artworks executed in a variety of styles representing different artistic movements. The collection showcases work by international, regional, and local artists. This visit greatly enriched the students both visually and academically, perfectly aligning with the educational objectives of the course.
