Field Visit for Interior Design Students to Art Hotel

The Department of Interior Design at the College of Arts and Design organized a field visit for students enrolled in the course Rehabilitation of Heritage Buildings to the Art Hotel on.

The visit was supervised by Dr. Saeed Al-Hamoud, Lec. Areib Al-Subaihi, Lec. Omar Hawashin, and Lec. Khaled Al-Radaydeh.

The visit aimed to enhance students' practical knowledge in rehabilitating heritage buildings, enabling them to understand the role of interior design in repurposed structures and its significance in presenting historical and cultural information. It also provided an opportunity to explore architectural elements that contribute to preserving the cultural and heritage identity of spaces.

Additionally, the visit inspired students to develop innovative ideas on rehabilitation methods that blend heritage preservation with contemporary touches. This encouraged creative thinking and exploration of advanced techniques in the field of heritage building rehabilitation.

At the end of the visit, the hotel management expressed their delight with the initiative, highlighting the College of Arts and Design's commitment to exposing students to real-world projects that focus on heritage and cultural aspects.
