Student Council in the Applied Science Private University
A Student Council is a group of elected and volunteer students working together within the framework of a constitution or bylaws to provide a means for student expression and assistance in university affairs and activities, give opportunities for student experience in leadership and encourage student / faculty / community relations.
Responsibilities of the Student Council
To promote the interests of students among the university administration, and staff
To inform students about any subject that concerns them
To identify and help solve problems encountered by students in the university.
To consult students on any issue of importance.
To organize educational and recreational activities for students.
To participate in developing the university's educational projects and to promote it to students
To organize an activity to recognize the efforts of students involved in organizing university activities.
To propose activities to the university administration that would improve the quality of life in the university.
To maintain good relations, out of mutual respect, with the university staff (, teaching and non-teaching personnel)
10. To ensure that students are involved in activities that show our Arabic and Islamic identity
11. To contact with other student councils in different universities nationally and internationally.
