The Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies was established by decision of the Board of Trustees in early January 1998 under article 9/2 of the University's Rules of Procedure No. 1 of 1993 based on the Law of Private Universities No. 19 of 1989 due to the importance of scientific research in Developing faculty skills and serving researchers.
The Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies offers incentives for faculty members, which has reflected the university's achievements in the field of scientific research and increased the number of research published in scientific journals specializing in Scopus databases of, SCI, SSCI, SCI, and AHCI, where the Applied Science Private University is the most widely published in the SCOPS database.
The Deanship of Scientific Research seeks to keep up with the requirements of the labor market and in coordination with the deans at the university to seek students to complete the master's and PHD degrees in prestigious international universities among the top 500 according to the classification of QS, Shanghai, and TIMES.
In graduate studies, thirteen postgraduate programs in accounting, finance and risk management, marketing, digital business administration, cyber law, interior design, intelligent systems in industrial engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, nursing, computer science, visual and audio translation, and media, higher diploma in Education and higher diploma in partisan and parliamentary work have been launched. The University is seeking joint programs with prestigious international universities in the field of graduate studies and specialized professional diplomas.
The Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies supports the participation of faculty members in specialized and indexed conferences in Scopus databases, SCIE, SSCI, SCI,AHCI inside and outside Jordan
As for the arbitration of scientific books, it allowed the faculty members to arbitrate their works for the purposes of promotion or teaching and to provide financial support for distinctive writing.
The Deanship of Scientific Research supervises the issuance of the Jordan Journal of Applied Sciences, both humanities and natural sciences. It allowed researchers from inside and outside the university to publish it
