The Applied Science Private University policies on minimization and use of disposables demand any service provider (outsourcing) to adhere to the strict procedures related to minimizing the use of any disposable and hazardous materials such as, plastic, single use items, and hazardous materials to the minimum, in order to prevent and minimize any possible effects on public health, and also on the surrounding environment. The procedures related to this policy recommend the following: the use of recycled material, such as paper and water; and minimizing the use of all types of plastic and not environment friendly materials. University Policies on minimization of usage of disposable, plastic and other hazardous materials are extended to all suppliers as indicated in the procedures of the policy that governs the operation of various departments at the university such as: bidding, tendering, procurements, building services…etc.
