The Applied Science Private University initiates and participates in international collaboration on gathering and measuring data for the SDGs. Examples of such initiatives include: A project funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering and jointly carried out in collaboration with UNIVERSITI SAINS MALAYSIA with the aim to conduct comparative studies and exchange best practices in managing Rainwater Harvesting Systems (RWHS) as a promising alternative source of water. Malaysians and Jordanians are urged to collect rainwater, despite the availability of water distribution systems due to the shortage of water. The harvested rainwater could be utilized for non-potable uses and save potable water if the water quality parameter satisfies the acceptable level.
