Dr. Reem Abutayeh joined Applied Science University (ASU) as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy in 2016. She graduated with a Master degree in Analytical Toxicology (2004) and a PhD in Drug design and Medicinal chemistry (2016) from the University of Jordan. She is eager to contribute to research and education in the world of pharmacy with special interest in the discovery and development of new biologically active molecules, and she supports ASU Faculty of Pharmacy in its quest for quality accreditation. During her twenty years of experience, she held different positions and was involved in the establishment of three national bodies: Jordan National Drug and Poison Information Center (2002- 2007), the Jordanian Antidoping Organization (2006-2015), and the Jordanian Association of Clinical and Forensic Toxicologists (2010-present).
