Pharmacy practice group arranged on Tuesday the 21st of November a discussion session giving the opportunity for number of students to share their experiences of training in The King Hussein Cancer Centre and in pharmaceutical industry. The requirements, the steps, and mechanisms to be followed to gain training opportunities and internships in the places where they trained were discussed. The trainee student at The King Hussein Cancer Centre simplified the departments at the cancer centre and the tasks each department does.
Those trainees showed how passionate they are about learning and taking new opportunities and how it will allow them in the future to provide patients with the best healthcare.
the discussion session gained vast interest from students and the presence of the faculty Dean and Doctors to confirm the extent of the faculty’s support to these event that are held inside the faculty, that aims to develop and enrich students and prepare them for the labor market. At the end of the session Dr. Samar Thiab -Dean of pharmacy faculty, awarded each of the speaker students with appreciation certificate and one hour of community service. It’s worth to mention that Pharmacy practice group will organize similar session in near future, and we encourage our students to share their training experience
