The Pharmacy Practice Group at ASU, in collaboration with the Social and Cultural Committee at Applied Science Private University, organized an interactive meeting for the senior students with Rawhi pharmacy group on Thursday 9-2-2023 under the title:
Rawhi Pharmacy training day at ASU
The interactive meeting consisted of two parts; In the first part, the representatives from different departments in Rawhi pharmacy delivered a presentation about the values and role of Rawhi pharmacy in the local community and its efforts to train and develop pharmacy students, roles of the pharmacist trainee and intended outcomes by end of the training period were discussed, in addition for the hiring criteria in the pharmacy.
In the second part: interviews were conducted for number of students one by one aiming to assign them to the training program with the possibility of hiring in the future.
Dr. Firas El-Hajji, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy gave Rawhi pharmacy delegates appreciation certificates followed by a motivational talk to the students. This meeting is one of series of workshops and activities of the training program by the Pharmacy Practice Group to prepare the students for work after graduation and link them with different pharmaceuticals societies.
