The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy hosted Dr. Nidā’ Sanjāb, a clinical pharmacist, who delivered an introductory lecture on how to classify and register natural products in accordance with the regulations and guidelines of the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA). The lecture took place on Sunday, April 13, 2025.
Dr. Sanjāb enriched the knowledge of students enrolled in the Herbal Therapy course by sharing her extensive experience in registering numerous natural products during her long career working with various pharmaceutical warehouses and companies.
At the end of the lecture—which was partially recorded and presented to students along with questions as part of the asynchronous teaching approach—Dr. Reem Abu Tayeh, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy, thanked Dr. Sanjāb on behalf of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Samar Thiab. Dr. Abu Tayeh also reaffirmed the Faculty’s commitment to welcoming professionals from various pharmaceutical fields to share their expertise and help connect students with real-world industry requirements.
