Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Samiha Jarrah, President of the Applied Science Private University, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized its 6th International Conference on Integrative Approaches in Pharmacy (ICIAP 2024). The conference, held on November 13 and 14, 2024, was attended by researchers from Jordan, the United Kingdom, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Palestine, as well as postgraduate students in pharmacy from Jordan.
The conference featured notable participants such as:
- Prof. Dr. Andrew McBain, Professor of Microbiology, The University of Manchester, UK.
- Prof. Dr. Mohamed Dekhil, Director of the Interdisciplinary Research Center at Helwan University in Egypt.
-Dr. Osama Tabara, founder and president of the IVPN network, which specializes in promoting the exchange of knowledge and expertise among professionals in the healthcare sector.
The conference was attended by 285 academics and pharmacists from various sectors, including the Ministry of Health, Jordan Pharmacists Association, graduate students, as well as around 170 undergraduate students who are interested in the latest developments in pharmaceutical sciences.
A total of 90 research abstracts were submitted to the conference, of which 64 were accepted. The conference also included an exhibition featuring pharmaceutical companies and various drugstores.
Additionally, the conference featured a poster competition for graduate students from Jordanian universities, with 42 researchers participating. Then the conference concluded with four scientific workshops held at the Faculty of Pharmacy:

- Drugs, Herbs During Pregnancy, presented by: Dr. Raja Daghash, Dr. Alaa Abuodeh, Dr. Ahmad Alsyed

- Wisdom Through the Years: What 40 Years in Hospital Pharmacy Have Taught Me, presented by: Osama Tabbara, R.Ph, EMBA, President, IVPN-Network
