Dr. Firas Azzeh is a professor in the Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics Department/Faculty of Pharmacy at the Applied Science Private University.
Dr. Firas holds a bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree in Nutrition and Food Technology from the University of Jordan.
He obtained the ranks of associate professor and professor in 2014 and 2018, respectively.
• Teaching experience in Jordanian and Saudi universities specializing in Medical Nutrition Therapy for bachelor's and master's modules and experience in practical training in hospitals for a period of 13 years.
• Supervising more than 20 student research at the bachelor's and master's levels.
Publishing 45 scientific papers in international journals in the field of clinical nutrition
• Research interests include micronutrients metabolism and its relationship to disease, as well as nutrition and immunity.
• Received financial support for 11 large and medium research projects.
• Received awards in scientific research as the best researcher at the university level for publication in international journals.
• Member of the editorial board of several international journals.
• Participation as a speaker in more than 100 conferences and workshops.
• Specializing in medical statistical analysis, designing research and medical experiments, and training students to use the statistical analysis program, especially the SPSS program
