A new achievement In addition to the series of ASU achievements in its goals towards distinguished and internationality

The Applied Science Private University ranks first at the level of Jordan in the Times World Classification for the impact of universities on the production and consumption index. The first (in participation) in the classification generally at the level of private Jordanian universities. 

 The Applied Science Private University was ranked first (in participation) in the Times University Impact Rankings 2021 at the level of private Jordanian universities and third (in participation) at the level of Jordanian universities according to the results of the general classification, with the participation of 12 local universities.  

The university obtained advanced results locally in the following criteria: 

·  The first place locally in the criterion of responsibility in production and consumption. 

·  The first place at the level of Jordanian private universities in the standard for gender equality (SDG5). 

·  The first place at the level of Jordanian private universities in the standard of peace, justice, and institutional work (SDG 16). 

·  The first place locally (in participation) in the impact on health criterion (SDG3). 

·  First place (in participation) at the level of Jordanian private universities in the quality of education standard (SDG4). 

 

The Times Ranking is the only global ranking that ranks universities according to their contribution to achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals approved by the United Nations (UN). The classification uses carefully calibrated indicators to provide a comprehensive and balanced comparison across four broad areas: research, supervision, outreach, and education. 

The Times University Impact Rankings (2021 Impact) is the third version and includes the general ranking of 1115 universities from 94 countries around the world, and the Applied Science Private University has participated in this world ranking for the second year in a row and entered this classification with 8 goals and achieved advanced global and local results in it.
