Amman - Within the framework of scientific and cultural communication with which the Applied Private Science University is linked with the Arab brethren, the President of the University, Prof. Mahfouz Joudeh, accompanied by the Vice President of the Board of Directors at the University, Dr. Haitham Abu Khadija, and the Vice President of the University Prof. Iman Bashiti met with a delegation from the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Jordan, represented by Dr. Youssef Al-Shoum, Deputy Syrian Ambassador, Cultural Attaché Prof. Qassem Maslamani, and Al-Mohalq Cultural Prof. Lujain Qutrib.
The delegation reassured the Syrian students who study at the university. At the same time, the meeting included a detailed explanation provided by the Vice President of the University, Prof. Iman Bashiti, about the stages of the university's inception and development, the international accreditations obtained by the university and its future aspirations in various fields, in addition to the services provided by the university to the local community.
Prof. Judeh (President of the University) and Dr. Yousef Alshoum expressed their hope for consolidating and strengthening academic and research relations between the Applied Science Private University and Syrian universities in the field of establishing scientific research and joint scientific programs, exchanging academic and scientific experiences, exchanging visits between the two sides, and sending students and exchanging study programs and plans.
In appreciation of the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic's efforts in Jordan, a memorial shield was awarded to the Syrian Embassy, which the Deputy of His Excellency the Syrian Ambassador, Dr. Yousef Al-Shoum has received on the Embassy's behalf.
