Yemeni Delegation Visits ASU

Dr. Haytham Abu-Khadija, Vice-chairman of ASU's Board of Trustees received a Yemeni delegation made up of Dr. Qibla Mohammad Al-Sa'eed, the Yemeni Attaché; Prof. Al-Khidr Nasser Al-Asswer, University of Aden President; and Prof. Mohammad Salem Mohammad Ba-Azab, UA's Coordinator for the Mediterranean University Union (UNIMED). The meeting was attended by ASU President Prof. Iman Al-Basheti and Vice-President Prof. Saleh Alokdeh.

They discussed ways to enhance relations between the two countries and stressed coordination in the fields of scientific and cultural research, development, training, and transfer and dissemination of knowledge. Then, they signed a cooperation agreement in relation to research and organization of joint medical conferences.

The delegation also took a tour in the facilities, including the Anatomy Lab, and commended ASU's progress and distinction in various aspects.

ASU – the university for all Arabs – always welcomes students from Yemen, the Arab region, and the entire globe.
