ASU Leads Jordanian Universities in Times World Impact

ASU occupied the first place among Jordanian universities in three of the criteria adopted by the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2022 to achieve the 17 sustainable development goals. These were equality, consumption & production, and peace, justice & strong institutions.

ASU came in the 101-200 category at the global level and no. 1 at the national level in terms of consumption and production. It has always been among the leading Jordanian and international universities striving for sustainable development while conserving natural resources and reducing ecological effect.

ASU also came in the 201-300 category at the global level and no. 1 at the national level in terms of equality, which would encourage ASU's attitude to eliminate all kinds of discrimination against women and boost equity and human rights.

Furthermore, ASU came in the 201-300 category at the global level and no. 1 at the national level in terms of quality assurance in institutional action and policy towards sustainable development in campus and community life.

The results were announced at the sidelines of the Times Impact and Innovation conference held in the Swedish capital Stockholm, in which ASU was represented by its President.

During the event, she met with organizers Nick Davis, Tim Sola, and Yimmi Edition to discuss fields of cooperation between ASU and the prominent institution.
