Amman - The Applied Science Private University launched the Applied Media Contest, in its first version, for university students and high school students (Tenth grade - Tawjihi).
The competition aims to create a promising generation of media professionals in the future, armed with knowledge and confidence, and able to take responsibility by providing them with ethical knowledge of the media profession, the rules for dealing with the media, and enhancing the capabilities of participants in all media tracks.
The competition also includes several axes: the media in the era of the Corona, the role of the media in defending Islam, the media women and the outlook of society, the media and human rights - its role and influence, the features of modern digital media, and the influence of media on the opinion of the individual and society.
The competition jury includes His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al-Momani - Former Minister of Information, Lana Al-Qoussous, and the journalist Amer Rajoub.
The university will award scholarships to high school students' winners to study Digital Media specialization by 100% for the first place, 75% for the second place, 50% for the third place, and for its students, they will be awarded monetary prizes.
