An ASU delegation, headed by Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design Dr. Issam Abu-Awad, paid a visit to Chairman of Amman Chamber of Commerce HE Senator Issa Haider Murad in a bid to boost bilateral ties.
In the ACC Headquarters, Abu-Awad and Murad discussed cooperation mechanisms in the next stage, as well as holding a memorandum of understanding on different academic aspects as well as curricular and non-curricular activities.
Abu-Awad said the meeting came to voice gratitude to the ACC’s continuous support by adopting creative ideas. He also expressed aspiration for closer ties with national institutions like ACC, calling for promoting technical cooperation mechanisms and active partnership in a way that levers the educational and commercial sectors alike.
In his turn, Murad commended the deep bilateral relations as well as ASU’s role at the academic and professional levels.
He remarked that ASU alumni’s proficiency obviously reflected its success and distinction, which would pave the way for further cooperation.
He wished the visit could lead to benefit to joint targets, especially those related to the Entrepreneurship House. The project is expected to help creative youth, particularly, university students, to obtain professional permits for private businesses.
Finally, the delegation thanked the ACC officials for their hospitality, referring to a number of agreements and ASU’s future plans. Abu-Awad invited them to visit ASU and learn closely about its experience. He also presented an honorary shield to the ACC Chairman
