The Department of Political Science organized today, Tuesday 12/24/2019, a visit to the Independent Electoral Commission, under the supervision of the head of the Political Science Department, Dr Bashar Awad Al-Tarawneh, and Dr Tarfa Al-Fayez, accompanied by the students of the department.
Where faculty members and students met with a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission, Faisal Al-Shboul, who in turn talked about the commission, its establishment and its role in the elections in Jordan.
The technical team also presented each according to its specialization in the most important work that they perform in the commission and the continuous efforts by them before and after the elections. The meeting was characterized by an interactive spirit by asking a number of questions and inquiries posed by students, and those involved in the commission answered them.
The visit concluded with an introductory tour of the Authority's facilities. Such visits come to students of the department to link the theoretical side with the practical side, which is the most important to dedicate a deep understanding of students.
