Enterprise resource planning success in Jordan from the perspective of IT-Business strategic alignment
Authors :
Abstract : This research explores the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) success in an organizational setting that has been rarely explored. Owing to the lack of theoretical attention, the researchers decided to evaluate ERP success in the context of Jordanian-listed companies. This quantitative study employed the DeLone and McLean success model, while questionnaires were used to collect the data. The questionnaires were mailed to 388 CEOs and CIOs, and a total of 358 valid questionnaires were evaluated using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Information quality, system quality, training quality, and ease of use, all impacted manager satisfaction (here after known as user satisfaction) positively, while user satisfaction affected ERP success. Additionally, ERP success was influenced by the quality of training, system quality, and IT-business strategic

An Empirical Investigation of Reasons Influencing Student Acceptance and Rejection of Mobile Learning Apps Usage
Authors :
Abstract : Sustainable learning and education (SLE) is a relatively new ideology based on sustainability principles and developed in response to the United Nations’ recently proclaimed Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a result, technologies should be adopted to equip educational institutions with the tools necessary to attain SLE. Recently, the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has affected educational systems globally, leading them to embrace more innovative technological methods to meet academic demands while maintaining SLE principles. Mobile learning apps (MLA) refers to using the unique capabilities of mobile apps to engage and collaborate towards establishing robust online learning. However, the effectiveness of MLA depends on learners’ acceptance. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that could affect MLA acceptance. In order to analyze the collected data from 415 Jordanian students among schools and universities, structural equation modeling (SEM) was used. The empirical findings confirm that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use are significantly influenced by self-efficacy and perceived compatibility. Furthermore, perceived usefulness is significantly influenced by perceived convenience and perceived ease of use. Additionally, perceived enjoyment significantly influences the behavioral intention to use MLA. On the other hand, perceived compatibility has no significant influence on perceived enjoyment. Finally, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived compatibility have no significant effect on behavioral intention to use MLA. This study addresses a critical research gap in the distance learning acceptance literature by proposing an exhaustive model in the post-COVID-19 era that can help to improve students’ performance and outcomes in Jordanian schools and universities

Authors :
Abstract : The purpose of this study is to look into Jordanian customers' purchasing habits in regard to electronic commerce. The goal of this research is to investigate the impact of social media on electronic commerce trust and purchasing behavior. Trust's impact on social commerce was also investigated. Furthermore, the influence of social commerce on electronic commerce purchasing behavior has been studied in greater depth. This study proposed a conceptual model, which was empirically tested with a survey of 150 Jordanians. The study's findings stated that social media and social commerce had a significant impact on Jordanians' purchasing behavior toward e-commerce. Besides that, trust has a significant impact on social commerce. Furthermore, social commerce influences e-commerce purchasing behavior. Because the study was limited to Jordan, one of the primary limitations of this study is that the results cannot be generalized. Similar studies in other countries are needed to either support or refute our findings.

Antecedents of online shopping behavior amidst fear of Covid-19 Pandemic in Jordan: An Empirical study
Authors :
Abstract : The frightening COVID-19 has considerably affected global marketing and the behavior and attitudes of consumers worldwide. Equally, it has changed the lifestyle, and the patterns of purchasing and consumption of consumers in Jordan as evidenced by the reduced popularity of in-store purchases. Quantitative research methods were applied in examining the relationships among the primary variables of the study. Data was obtained from 300 completed questionnaires collected from Facebook users in Jordan. Data was analyzed via AMOS software version 21.0, and hypotheses were examined by applying Structural Equation Modelling. Results revealed that trust issues, perceived ease of use and fear of complexity had a positive effect on online shopping behavior. Also, the study showed that perceived risk negatively affected online shopping behavior. Increased confidence in an online site increases the regularity of online shopping, while decreased perceived risk increases online purchase decisions.

Blockchain technology adoption for sustainable learning
Authors :
Abstract : Sustainable Learning and Education (SLE) is a recent emerging philosophy founded on sustainability principles and in response to the UN announced Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Therefore, technologies should be implemented to empower educational institutions to achieve SLE. This study aims to investigate the factors impacting the intentions of using blockchain technology for SLE in Jordanian universities. Accordingly, an extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is proposed where five more factors are integrated. To this end, an extended model was proposed and validated using structural equation modeling based on 407 responses collected using an online survey. The results showed that adopted factors significantly impact blockchain use in SLE. We believe that the study finding would assist decision-makers in building systems for sustainable learning and education for the Jordanian higher educational institutes.

Diagnosing the effect of green supply chain management on firm performance: An experiment study among Jordan industrial estates companies
Authors :
Abstract : In this study, the way green supply chain management affects green innovation and firm performance was scrutinized. The effect of trust on firm performance was also investigated. A conceptual model was proposed in this study, and it was empirically tested with a survey of 120 Jordanian managers. Green innovation and trust had a significant impact on firm performance, according to the study's findings. On green innovation, green supply chain management was shown to impart a significant impact. However, green supply chain management has little to do with green innovation. Furthermore, green innovation was found to contribute to both green supply chain management and firm performance. Notably, the present study may be skewed and selective because Jordan Industrial Estates has a good environmental rating. Furthermore, as the study was limited to Jordan, one of the major drawbacks is that the findings cannot be generalized.

Antecedents of ERP systems implementation success: a study on Jordanian healthcare sector
Authors :
Abstract : Most small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) use some business management software to manage their daily operations. Ultimately they consider transitioning to an enterprise resources planning (ERP) system. However, implementing ERP system successfully is costly and complex, and often shows high disappointment rates or even abandonment due to need of fit with the business or social culture. In Jordan, large businesses have been using the ERP system for a long time, but SMEs usage of the system is relatively new. The purpose of this paper is to study the effect of ERP implementation success antecedents which consists of training, supportive leadership and ease of use on ERP implementation success itself through a mediating effect of user satisfaction.
