The Faculty of nursing started as a department in 1992, and was established as a faculty in the year 2006 with equipped teaching environment including all advanced teaching resources, simulation labs and innovative, challenging, and supportive learning environment.
The Faculty of Nursing is a dynamic and evolving sector of education.
It is committed to prepare professional nurses through an interactive education that promotes the application of recent knowledge and advanced skills which aimed to improve the quality of health care for individuals, families and communities.
The program considers the needs of the students and different cultural backgrounds. We welcome students from all countries to enroll in our program that leads to a baccalaureate degree in Nursing. The students have the opportunities to develop their personal and professional competences by active learning in small groups and appropriate class size for enhancement of teaching- learning process; students have the chances to participate in non-curricular activities and community service programs. In addition, the faculty in collaboration with the university facilitates the enrolment of female students by a scholarship to meet the need of the local community for nurses.
The faculty members demonstrate excellence in nursing education, practice, research and community participation. We all dedicated to work with team spirit and decisive to achieve the mission and goals at both the university and the faculty levels.
